THE RESEARCH

Years coaching business leaders compelled me to research the compounding consequences of habitual lifestyle factors such as little to no exercise, being indoors, sleep mismanagement, ineffective nutrition and mind-set factors, which had placed many of these people in the grip of the grind. 

The science is emphatic, not tending properly to these aspects of our lives leads to diminished professional and personal performance. Every time we sacrifice a little of ourselves to the grind, we are slowly eliminating what keeps us performing at our best and chipping away at what defines us. Sacrifices accumulate unconsciously over time which: 

  • Impair our executive functions (that part of our brain used for problem solving, reasoning, organising, decision-making, inhibition) 
  • Erode our resilience 
  • Compromise our physical and mental health 
  • Strain relationships 
  • Potentially culminating in burnout

We curate our program to reveal what has led you to becoming stuck and underperforming, whilst giving you back control and courage to explore your potential and create lasting results. 

OUR FOUNDER

DR. EIBHLIN FLETCHER

Rolls Royce hired Eibhlin straight from finishing her chemistry doctorate into their emissions technology division, but being handpicked to implement a lean production project was where she began working in business culture and change. 

Steeped in history and tradition with a largely older male workforce, Rolls Royce was a demanding proving ground, as she continued to be promoted expanding her skills in lean manufacturing, business planning and culture change. 

Moving to Australia from Ireland in 2004 with a nine-month-old baby and her husband Nick, she initially worked in strategy and corporate planning, but found her flow in coaching leaders and teams – where the first ideas for Get a Grip of the Grind™ were seeded.

She also has a life-long love of daring and adventure, which has included; the Melbourne Ironman Triathlon; representing Ireland in a Duathlon; hang gliding around Europe; rock climbing Yosemite National Park’s world renown route; 24hr adventure racing, and marathons and other endurance events.

Her life and work experiences, skills and training are the driving force behind Get a Grip of the Grind™ – along with a personal determination and passion to help others carve out a more fulfilling, and joyful experience.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

The retreat is priced fully inclusive at $3000 including GST, and requires a $599 deposit to secure you place. Cancellations within 5 weeks of the retreat start date will forfeit their deposit. Ask for our T & Cs. Flexible payment plans can be arranged upon request. Get in touch if you’d like to find out more about this option.

REFERRAL SCHEME

You can get a $200 refund on your attendance fee when you refer a friend to attend our program in the future, after attending one of our retreats yourself. 

We take a Pay It Forward approach to referrals, as our way of saying thanks to everyone that lets us know how much they’ve gained from our program.
